Russian forces have intensified assault operations on the Kostyantynivka direction and seek to penetrate directly into the city of Kostyantynivka.

This was reported by representative of the 11th Army Corps Dmytro Zaporozhets.

According to him, the street battles for Kostyantynivka will drag on for a long time. He emphasized that the situation in the city will resemble the situation during the battles for Toretsk.

"Until the enemy razes this place to the foundation, it won’t capture it, considering that it will be drawn into urban battles," — explained Zaporozhets.

The spokesperson clarified that RF infantry units are increasingly trying to break through to Kostyantynivka and advance in this direction.
