Enemy losses for the day: AFU neutralized 1,130 occupiers and 17 combat armored vehicles

Over the past day, the Defence Forces of Ukraine reduced the number of Russian occupiers by 1130 personnel. The total losses of RF personnel amount to 1,339,190 military personnel.

Hundreds of units of enemy equipment and weapons were also destroyed. Updated data on occupiers’ losses was published by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

RF losses per day and since the beginning of the full-scale aggression

In the General Staff’s summary dated May 8, it was reported that the previous day, Ukrainian defenders destroyed 1 tank (11,919), 17 armored combat vehicles (24,538), 91 artillery systems (41,630), 2 MLRS (1,778), 5 air defence systems (1,370), 1,817 operational-tactical level UAVs (279,729), and 8 ground robotic complexes (1,344).

Additionally, 334 units of motor vehicles and tank trucks (94,879) were hit, as well as 1 unit of special equipment (4,173).

In total, over the day, the enemy lost 2,276 units of weapons and equipment, including drones.

Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion of Ukraine, Russia has also lost 435 aircraft, 352 helicopters, 33 ships/cutters, 2 submarines.
