Shooting near TRC in Transcarpathia: Roma tried to storm the military enlistment office over the mobilization of a fellow villager

In Transcarpathia, Roma tried to storm the military enlistment office after the mobilization of a representative of the local community.

Fire was opened on them, journalist Vitaliy Hlahola reported, citing sources in the TRC and eyewitnesses.

According to him, about 30 people gathered near the building of the 2nd department of the Khust RTRC in Mizhhirya. They began breaking down the doors and trying to break inside.

During the conflict, TRC employees used weapons. According to media reports, at least four shots were fired: most — from a starting pistol, at least one — from a Kalashnikov assault rifle. It is claimed that the shot from the rifle was blank.

The journalist also notes that the TRC leadership initially denied the fact of shooting. At first, they claimed there were no shots at all, and later — that only two blank shots were fired.

According to the journalist, he was later sent a video where at least four shots can be heard.
