Deputy Head of Kramatorsk DSA Roman Simashov has died from injuries sustained in Russian shelling
As a result of the Russian strike on Kramatorsk, the deputy head of the Kramatorsk District State Administration, Roman Simashov, was killed. He was 46 years old.
This became known from post of the Kramatorsk District State Administration on Facebook.
The district administration reported that the official died on May 8 from injuries sustained during the Russian strike on the city on May 5.
"This is an irreparable loss for the entire Kramatorshchyna, for colleagues, friends, and all who had the honor of knowing Roman Shavkatovych. He was a man of great dignity, honor, and inner strength," the message states.
The Kramatorsk DSA noted that Simashov had been involved for many years in housing and communal services issues and ensuring the stable operation of life support systems for the district communities.
Colleagues described him as a responsible leader, a professional, and a person who always supported people in difficult moments.
"He was respected for his humanity, decency, and devotion to his cause and Ukraine," the administration noted.
They also expressed condolences to the family, friends, and colleagues of the deceased official.
