Final decision in the Ladovskyi case: The HACC appeal confirmed the confiscation of the former head of the eco-inspection’s assets worth 19 million
The Appellate Chamber of the HACC approved the confiscation of part of the assets of the family of the deceased corrupt official — former head of the State Environmental Inspectorate of the Carpathian District Mykola Ladovskyi.
It has been proven that while serving in office, the official accumulated movable and immovable property worth 20 million hryvnias, registered in the names of relatives and other persons.
- three apartments and a non-residential premises in the center of Ivano-Frankivsk;
- Volkswagen Touareg (2021) and Mercedes-Benz G 63 AMG (2023)
The Appellate Chamber of the HACC, having heard the positions of the parties, satisfied the appeal of one of the defendants and refused to recognize one apartment worth 1 million UAH as unjustified. The rest of the HACC decision dated January 12, 2026, was left unchanged. The decision entered into force from the moment of its pronouncement.
