"Work for NABU" and "FSB trace": Yuliya Tymoshenko staged a show in the Appellate Chamber of HACC, trying to cancel the suspicion
Tymoshenko accused the HACC judge of working «for NABU» and stated about illegal wiretapping.
This is reported by the Anti-corruption center "MEZHA".
The HACC Appellate Chamber did not satisfy Tymoshenko’s complaint against the suspicion. During the consideration of the BYuT leader’s case, the defence declared the judge’s recusal, and Tymoshenko herself accused the court of working «for NABU», stated about an «ordered» consideration of the case, the judge’s friendly ties with «all fighters against corruption», and even FSB access to the audio recordings expertise.
During the hearing, Tymoshenko also stated that the FSB has access to the audio recordings expertise. She linked this claim to the use, in her opinion, of Russian software. The prosecutor objected and said that the used products are not included in the list of prohibited ones.
In a separate motion, Tymoshenko asked to oblige Prosecutor General Ruslan Kravchenko to verify the actions of NABU detectives and SAPO prosecutors. Essentially, she asked the Prosecutor General for protection from NABU, SAPO, and HACC.
The court did not cancel Tymoshenko’s suspicion and denied the key demands of the defence. The Appellate Chamber indicated that the available materials are sufficient for the suspicion, and disputes regarding NSRD, provocation, and evidence should be resolved during the consideration of the case on the merits.
