AMCU fines companies linked to former Kyiv metro head Brahinskyi 1.3 million hryvnias
Companies linked to former metro head Brahinskyi fined UAH 1.3 million.
Media reported that after Brahinskyi took over as director of the Kyiv Metro, companies connected to him began regularly winning the subway’s tenders.
Following a journalistic investigation, the media’s lawyers appealed to the Antimonopoly Committee, which ruled that individual entrepreneur Svitlana Ilyina and LLC “99 Production” be fined a total of UAH 1.3 million and barred from participating in tenders for three years.
Back in 2024, the media reported that Ilyina had worked as chief accountant at LLC “Specodezh Ukraine.” This was a “family business” of the Braginsky family: initially, Brahinskyi’s mother was the owner and director of the company, and later his sister took over.
The owner of LLC “99 Production” was Braginsky’s long-time business partner Kyrylo Kryvets, and from 2016 to 2018 the director was Brahinskyi’s cousin.
