Occupiers massively attacked Sumy region: hits on residential buildings in Konotop and Shostka, at least 6 wounded
On the night from Tuesday to Wednesday, May 20, Russian invaders launched a massive strike with kamikaze drones on Sumy region. UAV hits were recorded in residential areas of Konotop and Shostka communities, with destruction and casualties.
This was reported by the head of the Sumy Regional Military Administration, Oleh Hryhorov. Details of the attack on Konotop were revealed by Mayor Artem Semenikhin.

According to Semenikhin, the “Shaheds” hit private houses. Three people were rescued from under the rubble and hospitalized.
Also, a hit on a five-story building was recorded: three floors of the building collapsed.
The Regional Military Administration clarified that at least six people were injured in Konotop.
“Information on the wounded is being clarified. We pray that there are no fatalities… The elimination of the consequences of the strikes continues, as well as the evacuation of residents from damaged and neighboring buildings,” Hryhorov wrote.

The mayor added that a hospital was damaged and a museum was destroyed.
Later, Semenikhin reported new strikes on residential buildings and showed the aftermath of a hit on another multi-story building in Konotop.
