Media reported that police chief Vyhivskyi submitted his resignation: the department denied it

At the same time, investigative actions are ongoing in several regions of Ukraine regarding certain representatives of the law enforcement system.
On May 20, the SSU and the Office of the Prosecutor General are conducting anti-corruption measures in the main departments of the National Police in Ivano-Frankivsk, Ternopil, and Zhytomyr regions. Information about the searches was officially confirmed by the National Police of Ukraine.
The National Police press service stated that the agency is fully cooperating with the investigation, providing necessary information, and facilitating procedural actions.
According to media reports, the investigative actions may involve several high-ranking officials of law enforcement agencies. The names of the individuals involved have not been officially disclosed at this time.
The National Police also emphasizes that the structure operates under a principle of zero tolerance for corruption, and in cases where violations are confirmed, materials are submitted to court.
