A Russian drone attacked a private residential sector in the Kovpakivskyi district of Sumy. As a result of the strike, a 56-year-old local resident was killed.

This was reported by the head of the Sumy CMA, Serhiy Kryvosheyenko.

"After the strike by a UAV of an unidentified type on a private residential area in the Kovpakivskyi district of Sumy, a deceased 56-year-old resident was found on the territory of a household. The circumstances of the death are being established. The hit with ignition was recorded late in the evening," the report says.

In addition, another hit was recorded on the territory of a gas station. Fires broke out at both locations. Currently, the establishment of all circumstances of the tragedy and the final consequences of the enemy attack is ongoing.
