The AFU confirmed that the commander of the 155th Separate Mechanized Brigade, Luchanov, has been put on the wanted list for unauthorized abandonment of the unit

Operational Command “North” has officially confirmed that the commander of the 155th Separate Mechanized Brigade has been declared wanted for unauthorized abandonment of the military unit.

This is reported by OC “North”.

The military command noted that an official and law-enforcement investigation into the events involving servicemen of unit A5001 has now been opened. The leadership of the operational command assured that it is fully assisting the investigative bodies in establishing all the circumstances of the case.

It was previously learned that Luchanov was declared wanted after he unauthorizedly left his place of service amid the investigation of an incident involving the abduction of two brothers in Kyiv region. According to preliminary data, the colonel ordered his subordinates to retaliate against the civilians over an insult to his wife. Nine servicemen of the brigade have already been detained by law-enforcement officers.
