The wife of the scandalous People’s Deputy Bohdan Torokhtiy (group «For the Future») Alina Levchenko gifted her husband a luxurious Mercedes-Benz Maybach car manufactured in 2019.

According to official data, Alina Levchenko works at the State Enterprise “Center for Certification and Expertise of Seeds and Planting Material,” where she earned a symbolic 18,500 hryvnias over the year, and at the “Chernihiv Bakery No. 2” with an annual salary of 91,300 hryvnias. At the same time, her income is listed in the declaration in the strange format “0000000.” The MP himself receives about 62,800 hryvnias per month in the Rada before taxes.

Despite her modest official earnings, the woman regularly declares million-hryvnia cash gifts from her father — football coach Vitaliy Levchenko, who has headed the Uzbek club “Neftchi” since 2022. In particular, he transferred tranches of 2.59 million, 738 thousand, 735 thousand, and 418 thousand hryvnias to his daughter.

While the country is at war, Alina Levchenko’s social media pages are full of images of an elite lifestyle. In Instagram photos, the woman poses in a swimsuit wearing an Audemars Piguet watch valued at around 88 thousand euros (over 4.5 million hryvnias) by the cats_and_watches blog. Against the backdrop of luxury shots, journalists also noticed that the MP’s wife still listens to Russian music.

In Torokhtiy’s declaration, the family recorded dozens of luxury items:

• a diamond cross from the ultra-luxury brand Graff for 812 thousand hryvnias;

• a diamond Bulgari ring for 623 thousand hryvnias;

• a Fendi bag for over half a million hryvnias.

The real value of the family’s property may be many times higher, as dozens of items are declared with the note “value unknown.” Among them are Rolex watches, elite jewelry from Van Cleef & Arpels and Cartier, as well as an entire collection of exclusive Chanel and Dior bags. In addition to collecting luxury brands, the MP’s wife actively travels the world, posting photos from Oman, Italy, and other countries.

Bohdan Torokhtiy himself has repeatedly found himself at the center of high-profile scandals. In particular, he was scandalously expelled from the pro-presidential “Servant of the People” faction after a high-profile Bihus.Info investigation into the MP’s luxurious vacation in Bulgaria in August 2022 during martial law.
