Frontline situation: more than 200 combat clashes occurred in a day, the most on the Pokrovsk direction

Since the beginning of the day, 215 combat engagements have taken place on the front. Russian troops continue to massively employ aviation, artillery, and drones, launching two missile strikes, 60 air strikes (using 160 guided aerial bombs), deploying nearly 6,000 kamikaze drones, and carrying out over 2,100 shellings of Ukrainian Armed Forces positions and populated areas.

This is reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in its evening summary.

The enemy showed the greatest activity in the following directions:

• Pokrovsk direction: This became the most intense hotspot of the day, with 33 enemy attacks recorded. The invaders assaulted areas near Hryshyne, Kucherov Yar, Shakhove, Sofiivka, Bilytske, Nikanorivka, Dorozhne, Novyi Donbas, Rodynske, Serhiivka, Kamianka, Kotlyne, Molodetske, Udachne, and Novopidhorodne. In this direction, the Defence Forces neutralized 73 invaders (48 killed and 25 wounded), destroyed a UAV control post, an artillery system, 12 pieces of equipment, and eliminated or suppressed 257 drones.

• Slovyansk direction: Ukrainian defenders successfully halted 22 enemy attempts to advance near Kryva Luka, Zakitne, Rai-Oleksandrivka, and Riznykivka.

• Kostyantynivka direction: The Defence Forces repelled 12 assaults in the areas of Ivanopillia, Kostyantynivka, Illinivka, and Rusyn Yar; several clashes are ongoing.

• Kramatorsk and Huliaipole directions: On the Kramatorsk direction, 9 attacks were repelled near Fedorivka Druha, Malynivka, and Nykyforivka. On the Huliaipole direction, 8 assaults were recorded near Solodke, Huliaipilske, Dobropillya, Hirke, Tsvitkove, and Vozdvyzhivka.

In other sectors of the front the situation is as follows: on the Pivdenno-Slobozhanske direction the enemy carried out 7 assaults, on the Lyman direction — 5, on the Kupyansk direction — 4, on the Oleksandrivka direction — 3, and on the Pivnichno-Slobozhanske and Kursk directions — 3 attacks. On the Orikhiv and Prydniprovske directions, Russian invaders conducted no assault operations during the day.
