Presidential advisor on defense technology development Serhiy Beskrestnov "Flash" decided to respond to the most common questions about EW operations.

1. EW does not force a Shahed to fall. EW prevents the Shahed from finding and attacking the target, and provides an additional opportunity for air defense forces to shoot down the Shahed.

2. EW does not deflect ballistics. Even if EW could do this, we would not use this capability in cities. It is better for the missile to arrive at night on the territory of an empty factory than in a neighboring residential complex under the influence of EW.

3. EW technologies can affect GABs. But it is difficult to do so, and the enemy is constantly working on protecting the guidance system.
