Russians advanced near Chasiv Yar and Illinivka — DeepState

Russian troops continue to pressure Ukrainian positions in the Donetsk region. Russian infantry groups have advanced in Chasiv Yar and near Illinivka.

According to the resource, Russian troops have made gains on the Kramatorsk and Kostyantynivka directions. The occupiers have advanced in Chasiv Yar, which has suffered significant destruction as a result of Russian air, drone, and artillery strikes.

Russian forces have also advanced near Illinivka, which borders the outskirts of Kostiantynivka.

The Russian army is putting pressure on Kostiantynivka from three directions at once — from Novodmytrivka, Ivanopillia, and Illinivka. Part of the city is in the so-called "gray" zone, where Russian troops have been recorded penetrating.

Analysts note that in the event of the occupation of Novodmytrivka, Ukrainian units defending Chasiv Yar may face the threat of encirclement.

At the same time, the Armed Forces of Ukraine control part of Chasiv Yar. The city remains one of the areas of hostilities in this direction.
