Russia is attacking Ukraine with drones: UAVs are moving over Sumy, Poltava, Kharkiv and Odesa regions

In the evening of August 9, Russian troops continue to attack Ukraine with strike drones and guided aerial bombs. The Air Force reported the movement of UAVs over Sumy, Poltava, Kharkiv, Chernihiv, Odesa and Zaporizhzhya regions.

This is reported by the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

In Sumy region, the drones moved past Boromlia westward and toward Sumy from the east. Later, several groups of UAVs from the south of the region headed toward Poltava region— to Kotelva — and Kharkiv region — to Krasnokutsk.

In Poltava region, drones were detected heading toward Pyriatyn, as well as to Kotelva, Opishnia and Dykanka, with further movement southward — to Poltava and Reshetylivka. A separate group of UAVs from the southwest of Sumy Oblast was heading to Poltava region — toward Chornukhy and Lokhvytsia.

In Kharkiv region, UAVs were reported on a course toward Kharkiv from the northwest. In Chernihiv region, a drone was flying past Bakhmach in a southwestern direction — toward Ichnia.

At the same time, jet UAVs from the Black Sea were heading toward Odesa region — in the direction of Serhiivka and Zatoka.

The Air Force also reported the use of Russian guided aerial bombs (GABs) toward the border of Zaporizhzhya and Dnipropetrovsk oblasts, and later — toward Zaporizhzhya region.

In Zaporizhzhya region, UAVs were detected north of Vilniansk heading toward Slavhorod in Dnipropetrovsk region.
