SAPO wants to confiscate a BMW worth 2.3 million hryvnia from tax official Dehtyar from Dnipropetrovshchyna

SAPO seeks to confiscate in favor of the state a BMW 320 2025 model year used by Oleh Dehtyar, Deputy Head of the Department of the Main Directorate of the State Tax Service in Dnipropetrovsk Region.

However, the civil confiscation claim is motivated by the fact that, despite the vehicle being registered in the mother’s name, the tax official actually organized the purchase of the vehicle, participated in its selection and registration, and has used it since the day of acquisition.

Analysis of the official’s declared income and expenses for the period preceding and coinciding with the acquisition of the asset showed that his legal income not only failed to cover the cost of the car but was entirely spent on other current needs.

To secure the claim, the High Anti-Corruption Court ruled on 29.07.2026 to seize the vehicle.
