"No one has the right to kidnap military personnel": OP head Budanov commented on the shootout between the SSU and the DIU

The Head of the Office of the President and former head of the DIU Budanov commented on the shooting incident in Kyiv between the SSU and the DIU, effectively supporting the position of military intelligence.

He condemned those who “kidnap servicemen” — apparently, this refers to the deputy commander of the “RDK” Kaplunov, who, according to a number of sources, was detained by the SSU, which provoked the shootout.

“The situation is already being handled by the SBI and the Office of the Prosecutor General. It is important to conduct a thorough and objective investigation, but no one has the right to kidnap servicemen with impunity, open fire on the streets of cities, and give criminal orders,” — stated the head of the Office of the President in a comment to the media.
