The court released DIU serviceman Serhiy Ivanov from custody

The Pecherskyi District Court of Kyiv changed the preventive measure for serviceman of the Defence Intelligence of the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine Serhiy Ivanov, who is involved in the case regarding the incident involving DIU and SSU employees. The suspect was released from custody under a personal obligation.

This is reported by media and sources in law enforcement agencies.

Serhiy Ivanov is suspected of attempting on the life of a law enforcement officer following a shooting conflict that occurred between special services employees in the capital. At the hearing on selecting a preventive measure, the court granted the defence’s motion to mitigate the conditions of detention.
