After Kravchenko’s resignation, the future of the Tax Service leadership is in question — Karnaukh may resign

Following the resignation of Prosecutor General Ruslan Kravchenko, the future of acting head of the State Tax Service of Ukraine Lesya Karnaukh may be in question.

This was reported by journalist Serhiy Serdych.

Karnaukh previously served as Kravchenko’s deputy in the Kyiv Regional Military Administration. She later became his first deputy at the Tax Service, and when Kravchenko moved to the Prosecutor General’s Office, Karnaukh remained in charge of the STS.

Separately, the journalist draws attention to STS deputy head Igor Panchenko. According to him, Panchenko is allegedly mentioned in recordings linked to the NABU and SAPO special operation “Carthage.”

Against this backdrop, Serdych believes that the dismissal of Karnaukh and Panchenko now appears inevitable.

At the same time, there are currently no official decisions regarding their dismissal. Kravchenko submitted his resignation on September 7 amid the “Carthage” investigation.
