The Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor’s Office demands the confiscation of vehicles and a house belonging to the former deputy head of the Lviv TRC, valued at over 7.4 million hryvnia
The Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor’s Office has filed a lawsuit with the HACC seeking to declare as unjustified the assets of former deputy head of the Lviv Regional Territorial Recruitment and Social Support Center O. Drapinskyi. The total value of the property exceeds UAH 7.4 million.
This was reported by the Temporary Special Commission, which had previously raised the issue of the colonel’s possible inaccurate asset declaration.
The case concerns two vehicles — a Mercedes-Benz GL 350 CDI and a Nissan Juke. Although formally registered to Drapinskyi’s father and sister, according to the case materials, they were actually used by the official and his wife.
The prosecutor’s office is also seeking the confiscation of a land plot and a residential house registered in the name of the former official’s mother-in-law.
The HACC has already imposed an arrest on this property.
The Commission noted that back in July it had raised the issue of Drapinskyi’s inaccurate declaration. In particular, the commission established that after the State Bureau of Investigations issued him a notice of suspicion, he continued serving in the Territorial Recruitment Center.
The case regarding unjustified assets is now under consideration by the HACC. The final decision will be made by the court.
