The High Anti-Corruption Court set bail of UAH 7 million for former chairman of the supervisory board of Sense Bank Hladyshenko in the Forest Gump case
The Higher Anti-Corruption Court has imposed a preventive measure on the former Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Sense Bank, Mykola Hladyshenko. The court set bail at UAH 7 million.
This is stated in the decision of the Higher Anti-Corruption Court.
Hladyshenko has five days to post the amount determined by the court. If he fails to do so, the prosecutor will file a motion to apply a stricter preventive measure.
The court also imposed several procedural obligations on the suspect. In particular, he is prohibited from leaving Kyiv, must surrender his passports for foreign travel, must not communicate with other individuals involved in the “Forest Gump” case, and must not visit certain premises.
The decision was issued by investigating judge Viktor Maslov.
According to the prosecutor, Hladyshenko controlled the situation on behalf of JSC Sense Bank from start to finish to ensure there were no obstacles to posting bail for Halushchenko.
To that end, he specifically involved the head of financial monitoring at Sense Bank, Liudmyla Snihur.
At the same time, the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor’s Office requested that Hladyshenko be taken into custody with the option of posting bail in the amount of UAH 150 million. The SAPO substantiated its position, in particular, by reference to the suspect’s financial status.
