"Ukrzaliznytsia" confirmed the RF strike near the train with Johnson and European politicians

"Ukrzaliznytsia" confirmed a Russian drone strike in the area where a diplomatic train carrying European politicians was located.

Earlier, the German magazine Spiegel reported on the attack.

According to the company, the train carried former British Prime Minister Borys Johnson, EU security advisers, and other European politicians. At the time of the strike, former CIA Director David Petraeus was in another train at the station.

The drone was detected in advance, and the evacuation signal came about 15 minutes before the hit on the locomotive.

Ukrzaliznytsia admits that the target may have been the diplomatic train itself. It left the station earlier than planned due to an operational schedule change amid the threat of Russian strikes.
