Zelenskyy imposed sanctions against his former press secretary Yuliya Mendel

Head of State Volodymyr Zelenskyy approved the decision of the National Security and Defence Council on the introduction of personal restrictions against his former press secretary Yuliya Mendel.

This is evidenced by Zelenskyy’s decree.

According to the published information, the head of state signed the corresponding decree, which enacts the adopted decision of the NSDC regarding the application of restrictive measures.

The list of envisaged sanctions includes the blocking of assets, as well as a number of other special economic and administrative restrictions defined by the legislation of Ukraine.

The President’s Office claims that Mendel is spreading disinformation and Russian propaganda, as well as supporting the Russian Federation’s policy towards Ukraine.
