Russian drone attacked repair crew in Sumy region: power company driver killed

In Sumy region, Russians attacked with a drone power engineers who went to repair the damaged power grid in Konotop district. As a result of the attack, a 53-year-old driver was killed. 

This was reported by the head of the regional military administration Oleh Hryhorov.

"The enemy attacked the repair team’s vehicle. The 53-year-old driver-power engineer was killed. Sincere condolences to the family. Another worker, a 50-year-old electrician, was injured. He was taken to the hospital, where doctors are providing the necessary assistance," he wrote on Telegram.

Hryhorov stressed that this is another cynical crime by the Russians that took the life of a civilian.

"The enemy continues to deliberately strike at people working to ensure the region’s vital activities," he added.
