President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy has signed three decrees enacting decisions of the National Security and Defence Council of Ukraine to impose sanctions on vessels of the Russian "shadow fleet", against enterprises and individuals linked to the Russian state corporation Rostec, and propagandists who justify Russia’s aggression.

This was reported by the Office of the President.

The sanctions list includes 20 maritime vessels that Russia uses to export oil, oil products, and liquefied gas. This is the most important source of revenue for the Russian budget, which directly finances the war against Ukraine. There is clear evidence that these tankers transport oil from Russian ports to India, Egypt, and Turkey. At the same time, they fly the flags of Liberia, the Marshall Islands, Sierra Leone, Barbados, and Palau.

One of the decisions imposes sanctions against 29 Russian citizens and 29 Russian companies. Among them are enterprises involved in supply chains for high-precision industrial equipment, electronics, and components for the production of missiles and drones. Restrictions have also been applied to enterprises producing dual-use goods, research organizations developing technical documentation for the Russian military-industrial complex, as well as an educational institution that trains specialists for enterprises of the Russian concern Kalashnikov. Sanctions have also been imposed on companies that design solutions and supply high-tech equipment for Russian military-industrial complex enterprises and IT companies that develop and maintain software products for information encryption, data collection, and database management.

"Rostec is the industrial core of the Russian war machine: the corporation’s enterprises provide up to 80% of weapons and military equipment for the war against Ukraine and produce, in particular, Iskander and Kinzhal missiles, strike drones, and critical components for UAVs used by Russia to attack Ukraine," emphasized Presidential Advisor and Commissioner for Sanctions Policy Vladyslav Vlasyuk.

Ukraine will provide all information to partners for the synchronization of sanctions in international jurisdictions, the OP summarized.

As previously reported by the portal «ANTIKOR», Volodymyr Zelenskyy imposed sanctions against his former press secretary Yuliya Mendel.
