In occupied Mariupol, power went out after a drone attack: a key electrical substation was hit

In the temporarily occupied Mariupol, power supply was lost in several districts due to damage to an energy facility. As a result of the drone attack on the substation, local residents also faced interruptions in communication networks and water supply.

This was reported by the head of the Center for the Study of Occupation, Petro Andryushchenko.

The strike by unmanned aerial vehicles hit a key electrical substation, causing a major fire at the site. According to local residents, explosions were heard at night, after which power went out instantly across most of the city and nearby settlements.
