Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky held a meeting with the government, military and representatives of the military-industrial complex, where they discussed means to combat Russian reconnaissance drones. The talk was about providing our soldiers with new modern weapons against the Russian Orlans.

Zelenskyy announced this on his Telegram channel. He also posted a video.

As can be seen from the footage, the meeting was attended by the head of the Ministry of Defence, Oleksandr Syrskyi, and Defence Minister Rustem Umerov.

“Orlan” or ZALA above the front line are eyes for Russian artillery and attack UAVs,” the president emphasized.

According to Volodymyr Zelensky, Ukraine has a solution to blind enemy reconnaissance drones. He also noted the need to implement a systematic approach, from identification to the effective use of electronic warfare and weapons.

The head of state gave instructions to create a comprehensive system that would unite the army and industry. So that manufacturers know exactly the needs of the front, and the army knows the production capabilities in all regions.

“The front needs a quick response to challenges and threats. We must do everything to protect the most important thing we have on the battlefield – the lives of our soldiers,” the president concluded.
