This year, drone production in Ukraine may reach 2 million units

This was stated by Deputy Minister for Strategic Industries of Ukraine Hanna Hvozdyar during a telethon.

“Everyone was struck by the President’s phrase about the possibility of producing a million drones in Ukraine, and for some reason many people did not believe it. I can assure that Ukraine in terms of production is already well over a million. And I am sure that this year we will reach the mark of even 2 million,” said Hvozdyar.

She noted that as of today, at our own facilities, we are able to produce about 150 thousand UAVs per month, and with additional funding, production can be increased multiple times.

In total, about 200 domestic companies are involved in this sector, of which about 60 have already joined the state order.
