Surrounding Slovyansk and Lyman is possible: the enemy is using all kinds of weapons

According to military medic Andriy Huk, wounded Ukrainian defenders with signs of chemical weapons exposure are arriving almost every two weeks.

Captain of the medical service of the "Bureviy" brigade of the Offensive Guard, neurosurgeon Andriy Huk noted that the enemy is using all types of weapons in the Lyman sector in an attempt to advance. He said this on the air of Espresso TV channel.

"Heavy fighting continues in the Liman sector. Unfortunately, we have already been warned about the possibility of encirclement of Slovyansk and Lyman. That is why we are concentrating as much as possible and working proactively. The issues of communications equipment and ammunition remain open," emphasised Huk.

He said that Ukrainian soldiers, who have been fighting since 2014, are shocked by such a large-scale use of all possible types of weapons, including chemical weapons.
"Today we have official information that the enemy has used chemical weapons more than 1,000 times during the large-scale war. That is, the Russians are also using prohibited weapons, and almost every two weeks we have our defenders with signs of being hit by chemical weapons," said Huk.
