Farmers will unblock another checkpoint on the border between Poland and Ukraine

On 21 March, Polish farmers promised to unblock truck traffic at the Zosyn-Ustyluh international border crossing point from 20:00. At the same time, the protesters have already stopped blocking the passage of trucks in the direction of the Medyka-Shehyni checkpoint.

It is still unknown how long the Zosyn unblockade will last, but it is temporary. This was reported by the State Customs Service of Ukraine .

“According to the Polish side, today, March 21, from 20.00, the protest associated with the partial restriction of vehicle movement in front of the Zosyn checkpoint is temporarily suspended. It is reported that movement will occur without complications,” the Customs Service noted.

Also in the morning of 21 March, farmers stopped blocking truck traffic in the direction of the Medyka-Shehyni checkpoint, State Border Guard Service (SBGS) spokesman Andriy Demchenko said during a telethon. According to him, Ukrainian border guards received information about the unblocking of Medyka-Shehyni yesterday, on Wednesday, 20 March, at around 21:30.

This was reported by Polish border guard colleagues. They informed the State Border Guard Service that Polish farmers have completed blocking the movement of cargo vehicles entering and leaving Poland. “So, registration of this category of transport began to be carried out as usual,” Demchenko said.
