In Sumy, city hall employees will help the TRC handle summonses

The department will also coordinate the preparation of executive bodies, enterprises, institutions and organizations of the city, as well as the population, for actions under the conditions of a special period.

In addition, the mobilization department will control the creation, storage and maintenance of a reserve of material, technical and raw materials resources at enterprises.

“The department will have four employees. It will begin functioning on April 1,” Kobzar said.

Due to the expansion of functions, the structure of the Department of Social Protection of the Population will be reformatted.

Now it will include the following departments:

• on integration and support of internally displaced persons;
• to provide services to war veterans and members of their families;
• to provide targeted assistance to certain categories of citizens.

One of the main tasks of the department will be to notify persons of military age who are subject to mobilization. Information will be provided jointly with the TRC. According to Kobzar, representatives of the city council, together with representatives of the TRC, will be able to distribute subpoenas.

The department will consist of four people.
