Zelenskyy told how far the occupiers have advanced in Kharkiv region
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that the Russian occupation army had advanced no more than 10 km in the Kharkiv sector.
“Today, our Defence Forces have stabilized the Russians where they are now. The deepest point of their advance is 10 kilometers. In the directions of some brigades, the enemy has no advance at all - and never did,” Zelenskyy said.
He emphasized that Ukraine has powerful brigades. Thanks to this, we reinforced several directions with separate battalions - those who could be taken somewhere from the reserve and from some directions.
According to the president, “Vovchansk is their goal, of course.”
“In addition to the fact that they want an appropriate 10-kilometer zone, they always want to develop success if there is one. But the main thing today is that the situation has been stabilized by our Defence Forces,” Zelenskyy said.
The president also added that “no one has reached the concrete line of defence, it’s nonsense what they say there. The enemy has reached the first line. The first line is not a border, it is impossible to build there, because due to the corresponding weapons that the Russians used, our people were dying."
