Dnipro HPP will be shut down all weekend: Fedorov talks about dam damage
Following a massive Russian attack, traffic at the Dnipro hydroelectric dam will be closed for the entire weekend of 1 and 2 June. All relevant services are working to restore traffic.
This was announced by the head of the Zaporizhzhya RMA Ivan Fedorov . “Our priority is the safety of the residents of Zaporizhzhya. So we do it not only quickly, but also efficiently and carefully,” he said.
Fedorov said that after a detailed examination of the consequences of the missile attack, it was decided not to open traffic on the dam for the weekend.
“I can guarantee that all work will be carried out at maximum speed, but the priority will remain the safety of our citizens who will use the logistics component of our Dnipro Hydroelectric Power Station. This will definitely not break us. The enemy will answer for all this,” he said and advised to use other bridges between the two banks of Zaporizhzhya.
