Ban on leaving with a residence permit: the State Border Guard Service explained the situation

The State Border Guard Service spoke in more detail about the travel ban for men who could have previously left Ukraine with permanent residence in another country.

Judging by the statements of the representative of the State Border Service Demchenko, the travel ban now applies to those who previously crossed the border using a passport with marks of permanent residence in another country.

Which, in fact, has already been confirmed by delivery drivers.

Demchenko clarifies that we are talking about marks from the Ukrainian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Migration Service about leaving for a permanent place of residence abroad and about being registered there for permanent consular registration.

“We will no longer release this category of citizens based on these marks in their passport documents,” Demchenko said.
