HACC begins hearing on choosing a measure of restraint for Mukachevo Mayor Andriy Baloha

Baloha himself was initially imprisoned, but after a request from his lawyer, he was allowed to sit next to his defender.

The prosecution asks to choose a preventive measure in the form of detention with the possibility of bail in the amount of 50 million hryvnia.

Let us remind you that today the mayor of Mukachevo and the head of the district council were served with suspicions in the case of selling land in the city center at a reduced price, SAPO reports.

The mayor’s actions are qualified under Part 2 of Art. 28, part 2 art. 364 UKU. The chairman of the district council is charged with Part 3 of Art. 27, part 2 art. 28, part 2 art. 364 UKU.
