Freimut TV presenter claims to be a victim of fraudulent developer Vavrysh and his Saga Development

TV presenter Olha Freimut said that she and her husband, producer Volodymyr Lokotko, had become victims of Saga Development, a Kyiv-based developer founded by Andriy Vavrysh. Her apartment in an elite residential complex in Podil was purchased before the full-scale war.

She announced this on Instagram .

The developer has stopped construction

According to Olha, even before the war they bought an apartment on Sahaidachnoho Street in Podil during the construction phase of the building.

The new building was positioned as elite. She noted that the developer had stopped all work for several years already.

"Time passed, the apartment was bought long before the war, but the developer stopped construction and did not say when the house would be commissioned. The happy residents of the "elite house" turned into robbed suckers," the presenter wrote.

Freimut has been in court with the developer for several years

Freimut also said that she had been in court with the developer for years and finally won the case. But she was never able to get her money back.

"We won the case. I have a question: Saga Development, Andriy Vavrysh, the founder, how do you walk calmly around Kyiv? Tell me, Mr. Vavrysh, why aren’t you in prison? Who is your defence? Don’t we live in a country where justice is especially valued now? It’s just strange to me - to win the case and not receive any compensation, because Mr. Vavrysh withdrew money from all accounts. The court arrested the accounts, but they are "zero", - Freimut noted.

The TV presenter wants publicity for this case so that others do not fall into the same trap and "Mr. Vavrysh will hobble to prison." Because, according to her, the developer company continues to sell real estate.

"Meanwhile, Saga Development, together with its founder Andriy Vavrysh, continues to sell apartments. They have several properties in the capital," Freimut added.

Vavrysh reaction

According to the founder of Saga Development, Olha Freimut was never among the company’s clients. At the same time, her husband, allegedly a citizen of the Russian Federation, was a client.

"I am not an expert in determining good and not so good Russians, let a "very objective court" do this, we do not need to be accused of collaborating with collaborators, so the financial companies involved decided to rely on the court’s decision," he noted.

According to him, the building has already been put into operation.
