Ukrainian defenders control the city of Sudzha in the Kursk region. Local residents are not afraid to contact them.

The Strategic Communications Department of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported this on Telegram.

StratCom has released a video that includes footage from Sudzha. Interestingly, there is no major destruction in the city as a result of the Ukrainian military offensive.

At the same time, the local residents who remained in Sudzha are in contact with Ukrainian soldiers. A woman living in the city says that the local authorities promised to evacuate them by bus, but they never did.
