Verkhovna Rada fails to vote on tax increase

The Verkhovna Rada failed to adopt a bill on increasing taxes, the purpose of which is to attract 30 billion hryvnia to the state budget.

Deputy Yaroslav Zheleznyak reported this.

According to his information, only 224 MPs supported the corresponding decision, while at least 226 votes were required for its adoption.

The bill was sent back for a second first reading.
