Zelenskyy announces reset of government at all levels

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced new personnel decisions at all levels of government, including in the government, the Office of the President and local authorities.

The head of state announced this in his latest address to the nation. Zelenskyy described it as a "reset of power in Ukraine" and warned that autumn "will be extremely important" for Ukrainians.

"Our state institutions must be set up so that Ukraine achieves all the necessary results - for all of us. To do this, we must strengthen certain areas in the government. Personnel decisions have already been prepared," the president emphasized.

As for dismissals and new appointments in the Office of the President, according to the head of state, he expects strengthening of certain areas of our foreign and domestic policy.

Zelenskyy explained the need for a "reset of power in Ukraine" by several current challenges facing the state.

"First, there needs to be more interaction between the central government and communities, especially now, during preparations for the winter season. Second, Ukraine has already achieved significant success in defense production, and this needs to be strengthened. Third, we must significantly strengthen our cooperation with NATO. Fourth, the European Union: membership negotiations, preparation of a membership agreement. And fifth, we need to synchronize everything that Ukraine has achieved in relations with partners," he noted.

According to the president, Ukraine "needs a new level of integration in the information, cultural and diplomatic spheres."
