"Hospitallers" reported that their former employee spent donations on casinos and travel

Volunteer Medical Battalion "Hospitallers" reported an investigation against Anna Skolbushevska (known on X under the pseudonym "Admiral Nyav").  After completing her work in the battalion, the woman spent six months collecting funds for her crew but used them for travel and gambling.

This was reported by the "Hospitallers" on the social network X.

"From 2022 to 2023, Anna Skolbushevska organized collections for the battalion. On December 15, 2023, she made the last payment to the fund’s account and ended her activities. Later, we found out that from December 2023 to June 2024, Anna collected donations to her accounts allegedly for her own crew and for many other well-known volunteers and organizations.

The investigation revealed that Anna spent the collected funds on personal needs, gambling, expensive trips around Europe, concert tickets, and other entertainments," noted the "Hospitallers".

The battalion reported that Anna Skolbushevska has health and addiction problems. She is currently undergoing treatment. She was excluded from the battalion, returning all property and symbols. Others involved in the fraud were also excluded, with inspections regarding some of them still ongoing. The “Hospitallers” have filed a report with the police and urged those affected to do the same.

"To prevent such incidents in the future, we have revised the control system for current and former employees, are updating reporting protocols, and are implementing additional rules for battalion participants," emphasized the "Hospitallers".

The battalion called for donations to be made only through official fund accounts.

Currently, it is unknown how much money Anna Skolbushevska might have appropriated, although she regularly collected tens and hundreds of thousands of hryvnias supposedly for the military. In June 2024, the woman collected money for the "Solomiansky Cats" but stopped communicating. After the publicity, she finally sent part of the funds to the military.
