National Council for Television and Radio Broadcasting called for a complete ban of Telegram in Ukraine

The council informs that it has also prohibited its employees from using Telegram on work computers.

"We expect that the current state of countering the risks associated with the use of this social network by state agencies is temporary, and soon Telegram will be completely blocked in Ukraine, similar to how ’Odnoklasnyky,’ ’VK,’ and all services of Yandex and Mail.ru companies were previously blocked," the statement reads.

It is worth noting that calls for the need to block the messenger are made regularly, but so far the issue has not moved beyond words. The main reason is that it is not advantageous for Zelenskyy and his Office to block Telegram in Ukraine.
