Zhara receives $10 million a year in black cash from "Horse Breeding of Ukraine" – Dubinskyi

Kostyantyn Zhara, the stableman of former President Yanukovych, receives an annual income of $10 million in black cash through his associates in the management of the state enterprise "Equestrian Ukraine".

This was reported by Member of Parliament Oleksandr Dubinskyi on the Dubinskyi.pro page on Facebook.

According to the MP, the state enterprise "Equestrian Ukraine" could have been a profitable state asset and an example of the revival of the public sector if it had not been destroyed by corruption. The enterprise owns tens of thousands of hectares of land designated for horse breeding and growing agricultural crops for horse feed.

Dubinskyi expressed outrage that these hectares have been "quietly transferred to Mr. Zhara, known for being Yanukovych’s stableman." The MP stated that Zhara was a co-owner or a nominal owner of the hunting estate "Yaryk," a place favored by Yanukovych and Azarov for recreation.

The MP explains the return of Yanukovych’s associate to the business and political summit by stating that Zhara is a partner of another horse enthusiast, Viktor Tymoshenko, who is close to MP Illya Pavlyuk, the gray cardinal of a fairly large group of deputies from the "Servant of the People" faction, whom Mikheil Saakashvili described as the head of a group of smugglers during a live broadcast of the "Right to Power" TV show.

Previously, the media reported that over the past year, "Equestrian Ukraine" suffered losses amounting to 250 million UAH due to uncoordinated agricultural activities on the enterprise’s lands by the owner of the "Millennium" equestrian plant, Kostyantyn Zhara, and the owner of the agro-holding "Demetra," Hennadiy Sydorenko, who is called a raider in the media. It was also reported that Zhara and Sydorenko resolve their issues through the chairman of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Agrarian and Land Policy, Mykola Solskyi, who is listened to in the President’s Office and the relevant ministry.
