What is the Ukrainianophobic OPFL member Tetyana Plachkova doing on the national telethon broadcast?

The fact that the Members of Parliament from the party «Opposition Platform – For Life» swiftly swapped their Budyonovkas for Mazepinkas surprises no one. Their Russian masters failed in their blitzkrieg, and for some reason, the «grateful» Ukrainians did not hang them on lamp posts either. Therefore, they were stunned and abruptly changed their rhetoric.

This was not unexpected – what else can one expect from thoroughly corrupt people for whom the mandate of the People’s Deputy of Ukraine is needed only to fill their pockets? However, the Ukrainian authorities, who vocally emphasize from TV screens, including through the president’s words, the need for an uncompromising fight against Russia, continue to breach new lows. Because alongside undeniably righteous words, they perform staggering acts.

There are many examples, but here’s one of the freshest and most outrageous. On the national television marathon «Unified News», the same people appeared en masse who, under normal circumstances, should have long been in prison. Charged with treason. These are representatives of the parliamentary party that half a year ago almost openly called Putin to our country. And its members promoted all Kremlin narratives.

Among this throng of OPFL members who «switched hats», Ukrainian Member of Parliament Tetyana Plachkova draws attention. Alongside her colleagues from the pro-Russian fifth column, she swiftly and preemptively flew out of our country a week before the full-scale invasion – on February 13.

After waiting it out in Vienna and realizing that the blitzkrieg failed and her masters did not take Kyiv in three days as promised, the MP returned to Ukraine. Where, alongside her other allies, she announced leaving OPFL (which had by then been banned) and forming a new faction – «Restoration of Ukraine». At the same time, she changed her rhetoric, starting to actively speak about her support for the army and condemnation of Russia, which she had praised just yesterday.

At the same time, the language on her official pages on Facebook and Telegram changed – if by the end of March, when she still hoped for a miracle, the posts on social media were in Russian, then from the beginning of April, when everything became clear, Tetiana Plachkova suddenly loved the hated "language." But this is trivial compared to everything that had happened earlier. This sharp change in language speaks only to her lack of principles, nothing more.

Simultaneously, she somewhat cleaned up all the dirt she previously poured on Ukraine – reposts of Kiva and Rabinovich, who outright smeared everything Ukrainian in Ukraine, disappeared from her accounts.

And the president, whom she now praises, was not particularly spared by Tetyana until recently.

However, today Tetyana Plachkova prefers to remain silent about all her anti-Ukrainian actions. As if there were no broadcasts on openly Ukrainophobic channels in her recent past, where she obediently repeated all the mantras of Kremlin propagandists about «the single people», «fascists and Nazis who seized power in Ukraine», «the people of Donbas», and so on.

There is a lot to recall from Tetyana Plachkova’s pro-Russian activity. But all of this pales in comparison to the OPFL faction’s visit to Moscow. In the delegation was Tetyana Plachkova.

Yes, the visit happened quite a while ago – in March 2020. While the head of the delegation, Viktor Medvedchuk, met with the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin, ordinary parliamentarians, including Tetyana Plachkova, met with the speaker of the State Duma Vyacheslav Volodin.

This visit caused outcry in a significant part of Ukrainian society, and in June 2020, the Prosecutor General’s Office announced that it had opened a criminal case over the deputies’ trip to Moscow.

However, as you might guess, this was a bone thrown to calm the most active «nationalists» – the criminal case came to nothing.

Which, in light of recent events, is very disappointing – it would have been very interesting to find out what exact instructions the Russian masters gave their Ukrainian lackeys on the eve of the planned «special operation».

Because the rhetoric of the OPFL members practically matched that of the Russian propagandists – the same smearing of the Ukrainian army, mocking the President of Ukraine, denigrating everything Ukrainian.

It has been six months since February 24. The most notorious OPFL members, like Kiva, have fled to Russia, where they continue to trample their country, Medvedchuk ended up in a remand center, where he has a chance to recall the fate of his client Stus. Some (including one of Tetiana Plachkova’s masters – Vadim Stolar) fled to the Côte d’Azur, where the so-called «Monaco Battalion» emerged. And some, including the former Ukrainophobe and herald of the «Russian world» Tetyana Plachkova, have swapped hats and are increasingly appearing on Ukrainian television.

And not on the banned channels of their comrades, but on the national television marathon. Currently, they are very cautious in their rhetoric. But the mere fact of the appearance of representatives of the fifth column, thanks to whom we have hundreds of thousands of deaths, on TV screens, is surprising. And that’s putting it very mildly.

And – the question. What are all these people doing in the studios? Especially when remembering the criminal cases against at least General Marchenko, who defends Mykolaiv, or General Kryvonos, who organized the defense of Zhulyany airport. What is the Ukrainian government achieving with all this? Lynchings? Is this really necessary for a country at war?
