How Klychko’s team, through Komarnytskyi and Brahinskyi, robbed and destroyed the Kyiv Metro

On December 8, the Kyiv authorities closed six stations of the Kyiv Metro from "Lybidska" to "Teremky". Metro traffic between the aforementioned stations was closed due to the depressurization of the tunnel and significant track flooding.

By Monday morning, December 11, a real collapse occurred at the "Lybidska" station. A huge crowd formed at the entrance to the metro station. People had to wait in a long line to get into the subway. Traffic at "Teremky" was practically blocked, and traffic jams formed on the roads. All this was due to the rampant corruption at the Kyiv City State Administration and the complete criminal inaction of the city authorities.

In connection with the flooding of the Kyiv Metro tunnels, the Kyiv Podilsky District Prosecutor’s Office initiated a pre-trial investigation into the fact of official negligence that caused grave consequences (Part 2 of Article 367 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine). During the pre-trial investigation, the circumstances that led to these consequences will be examined by investigators and prosecutors. Also, within the framework of the investigation, a legal assessment will be given to the actions of the officials of KP "Kyiv Metro" and the contracting organizations that constructed the tunnels between "Demiyivska" and "Lybidska" stations in the floodplain of the Lybid River.

To expedite the investigation of this high-profile event, we have decided to provide all possible assistance to law enforcement and expose all those involved in the destruction of the long-suffering Kyiv Metro. By the way, Vitali Klitschko will go down in history as the only mayor who, over the last half-century, did not open a single metro station in Kyiv. It is worth noting that he became the mayor of the capital back in 2014. And all because the mayor’s team has been solely working to plunder the budget and fill their own pockets. Now more details.

The cash flows of KP "Kyiv Metro" are controlled by Klychko’s criminal organization. The municipal enterprise is headed by Viktor Brahynskyi, who was appointed to this position by Mayor Klychko in July 2014, just a month after Klychko was elected mayor of the capital. Braginsky is quite a scandalous figure and is under the control of the "UDAR" organized crime group. The office of one of the participants of this criminal organization is located in the IQ business center. Braginsky regularly visits this business center, bringing reports and "profits" from the metro.

In May 2021, Brahynskyi and his KP also caught the attention of law enforcement. The Kyiv City Prosecutor’s Office, together with the State Fiscal Service in Kyiv, conducted searches in the office premises of KP "Kyiv Metro" in a criminal proceeding launched on the grounds of deliberate tax evasion during the construction of the Syretsko-Pecherska metro line from "Syrets" station to the "Vynohradar" residential area in Kyiv. Preliminary damage amounted to about 9 million hryvnias. However, Brahynskyi managed to resolve the issue through one of the employees of the Kyiv SSU Office, as was reported at the time by political expert Volodymyr Tsybulko.

It is worth mentioning that another overseer of Klychko over the cash flows in the capital, including from the Kyiv Metro, is a notorious corrupt official, Denys Komarnytskyi, who also belongs to the "UDAR" gang of Klychko, and whose office is also located in the same IQ business center. As we can see, the Kyiv metro is being systematically and long-term destroyed. The criminal syndicate of Klychko, Komarnytskyi, and Brahynskyi are stealing every last penny. It is enough to get acquainted with the investigation regarding the lifestyle of the latter, which was recently published by one of the Ukrainian media outlets.

As we can see, the transport sphere of the capital is completely occupied by the "UDAR" organized crime group, which has led to truly deplorable consequences. And, as experts say, 15 more metro stations in the capital are under threat of closure. Now everything is in the hands of law enforcement agencies, which, we hope, this time will not be tempted by a significant amount of "reward" from Klychko’s organized crime group and will bring the case to a logical conclusion. The destruction of the Kyiv Metro, especially during a full-scale war, is a real diversion, which definitely plays into the enemy’s hands. So perhaps the Security Service of Ukraine should also pay attention to the above-mentioned guys who are clearly not working on the side of our state? There are all grounds to believe that the special services will find more interesting episodes of criminal activity of the "UDAR" organized crime group than just corruption and the "cutting" of budget funds.
