Putin, in an interview with the scandalous Carlson, accused Ukraine of unwillingness to negotiate
Russian dictator Vladimir Putin in an interview with “American Solovyov” stated his alleged desire to “achieve a resolution of the situation in Ukraine through negotiations.”
Putin said this in an interview with controversial host Tucker Carlson.
Putin said that he allegedly wants to resolve the situation in Ukraine through negotiations.
“They (the negotiations - ed.) reached a very high stage of agreeing on positions in a complex process (in Istanbul in 2022 - ed.), and they were almost completed.
But after we withdrew our troops from Kyiv, the other side rejected all these agreements and obeyed the instructions of Western countries, European countries and the United States to fight Russia to the end.
In addition, the President of Ukraine legally prohibited negotiations with Russia. He signed a decree that prohibited everyone from negotiating with Russia."
“We know that he (the President of Ukraine – ed.) putts forward some ideas on this settlement, but in order to agree on something, dialogue is needed. Isn’t that so?”
According to Putin, Ukraine is now putting forward conditions that Russia cannot agree to.
It should be noted that Putin began the interview with a lengthy supposed history lesson, he made manipulative claims about Ukraine’s sovereignty and distorted historical interpretations of Ukrainian statehood.
