NATO wants to head Ramstein to coordinate military aid to Ukraine - Handelsblatt

The German publication Handelsblatt wrote that NATO wants to head Ramstein to coordinate military assistance to Ukraine, but Germany is against it.

According to the publication, this proposal was made by Alliance Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg and US Presidential National Security Adviser Jake Sullivan.

“The Alliance’s motto has always been that it does not want to fight with Russia under any circumstances. But now the taboo has been shaken. One reason: fear of   Donald Trump’s return . NATO wants to coordinate the supply of military aid to Ukraine,” stated in the material.

According to Handelsblatt, Berlin was skeptical about the proposal, arguing that Russia would “be convinced that NATO is waging war against it.”
