British Defense Minister Grant Shapps praised the destruction of the Russian ship Caesar Kunikov of Project 775. The sinking of a large landing ship of the Russian Black Sea Fleet is a “powerful reminder” that Ukraine can win this war.

And in order to achieve this faster, the Armed Forces need help of Western partners. He wrote about this on his account on the social network X, formerly known as Twitter.

"Today I will meet with allies at a global conference on funding Ukraine’s Armed Forces. The sinking of another Putin warship will be a powerful reminder of how Ukraine can win this war with our funding," said Grant Shapps.

He stressed that every nation must step up to help defend the "front line of freedom."
