DeepState: Russian occupiers shot six captured Ukrainian soldiers at a position in Avdiivka

Russian terrorists executed 6 captured Ukrainian soldiers at the "Zenit" position in the enemy-held Avdiivka in Donetsk region. The soldiers were wounded, four of them could not walk and were unable to break through the cordon to the main forces.

Another war crime of the occupiers was reported by the Telegram channel of thorough analytics Deep State . It is noted that the fighters were identified by their brothers-in-arms in a video that was distributed online by Russians. The bodies of the killed soldiers in the footage were located in Garage No. 1.

Investigators of the slidstvo.info project talked with the relatives of the dead soldiers, finding out the names of at least three of them, as well as the circumstances of their captivity.

In his last conversation with his mother, he said he would not surrender because he was a warrior. The soldier is survived by a 5-year-old son.

The woman really wanted to believe that her son was alive, but she also recognized his body in the Russian video.

In the Russian video, his sister Kateryna recognized her brother’s body by his clothes and the water bottle he was holding in his hands during the conversation.

Journalists turned to the press service of the 110th brigade for comment. They noted that they can neither confirm nor deny this information, but will check it.

“I saw this video, but if it were true, the Russians would have already broken up the hysteria that we abandoned the wounded. These could be guys from a different position, other places, another time,” noted a representative of the brigade.

The Deep State channel recreated the events of the few days preceding the alleged shooting of the soldiers. They noted that the enemy broke through to Tsarska Okhota and began to gain a foothold around ’Zenit’.

On February 13, the Ukrainian military began to run out of water and water supplies. The soldiers received orders to break through in small groups. The release began on February 14. The wounded were promised evacuation, which arrived on February 15, but at 12 o’clock the Russians arrived at the position, and already on February 16, propagandists showed footage of executed soldiers.

“Probably, the guys were shot immediately on February 15. Before his death, another of the fighters managed to write “no bread, no shit, and half a bottle of water left.” In the footage of the bodies, one of the fighters remained holding that bottle after death,” – noted the channel’s analysts.
