Air defence forces destroyed 92 air targets: 55 Shaheds and 37 missiles

On the night of March 22, 2024, the enemy launched a combined missile and air strike against critical infrastructure facilities in Ukraine.

In total, the enemy used 151 air attack weapons:

- 63 attack UAVs of the “Shahed-136/131” type (launch area Primorsko-Akhtarsk - Russian Federation);
- 12 Iskander-M ballistic missiles (Belhorod region - Russian Federation, TOT Crimea);
- 40 Kh-101/Kh-555 cruise missiles (out of thirteen Tu-95MS strategic bombers - the Caspian Sea);
- 5 Kh-22 cruise missiles (out of five Tu-22M3 bombers - Rostov region - Russian Federation);
- 7 aeroballistic missiles X-47M2 "Dagger" (out of ten MiG-31K - Tambov region - Russian Federation);
- 2 X-59 guided aircraft missiles (out of two Su-30 (Su-34) - TOT Zaporizhzhya region);
- 22 anti-aircraft guided missiles S-300/S-400 (Belhorod, Kursk region - Russian Federation).

Anti-aircraft missile units of the Air Force and Ground Forces, mobile fire groups, and electronic warfare equipment of the Ukrainian Defence Forces were involved in repelling the missile and air strike.

As a result of the anti-aircraft battle, 92 air targets were destroyed:
- 55 attack UAVs of the “Shahed-136/131” type;
- 35 X-101/X-555 cruise missiles;
- 2 X-59 guided aircraft missiles.
